As part of the ICASA Youth Program, the ICASA YouthFront Media and Communications team is looking for articles to feature of the 2015 ICASA Youth Program website. The articles are expected to cover a number of thematic areas listed below to assist young people taking part in the conference to prepare substantively for the ICASA 2015.
We invite young people, youth serving organizations and individuals looking to engage at ICASA 2015 to submit your articles to feature.
The areas we welcome articles include the following;
- Maternal and Child Health
- Gender and Sexual and Reproductive Health
- HIV and TB including access to prevention, treatment and care
- HIV and AIDS and the workplace
- Human Rights
Articles should focus primarily on matters affecting young people in Africa, but topics of international interest may also be submitted.
In selecting the articles we will especially consider those that cover issues pertinent to Sexual and Reproductive Health; HIV and AIDS; profile interventions, approaches and methodologies, where we share lessons and experiences.
Articles can be sent together with good photographs and illustrations, and should be a maximum of 1,500 words. Please keep scientific language to a minimum for the sake of our general readership.
We regret that we are unable to pay for articles submitted. Please inform us if the articles have been submitted/ published elsewhere. The ICASA YouthFront reserves the right to edit all articles for reasons of space, accuracy or clarity.
