Musah Lumumba, a national coordinator: Uganda Youth Coalition on Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and HIV (CYSRA-Uganda), Program lead: African Young Positives Network (AY+), Advisor: HIV Treatment and SRHR, the Global network of young people living with HIV (Y+).
I also lead the HIV Prevention and Treatment goal, within The PACT, facilitated by UNAIDS in Gevena, I am the out going Y+ rep in the All In! Leadership and Group and serve as the African youth advisor to Point 7 delegation to the Global Fund Board (2014-2016).
Professionally, I have a degree in Clinical Medicine and Community Health, with a PG in Health services management. I have done clinical HIV treatment, safe male circumcision and contraception for young people.
Global Policy wise, I have contributed to the UNAIDS re-targeting, costing and scenario building processes, that led to the Fast track (90/90/90) strategy, UNAIDS Program Coordinating Board discussions and Global Fund strategy consultations.
At country level, I led the drafting of the National Minimum and Service Care package for Adolescents living with HIV, participated in national HIV and AIDS strategy development (2016-2021). Chaired the national youth team, that organised the first ever Youth Pre-conference of the Pediatric AIDS Conference (2014).
