Nyasha Phanisa Sithole is an evolving and highly dynamic 25 year old young leader, blogger, and an advocate on Sexual and Reproductive Health, HIV and AIDS, Gender Equality and Education with a special interest in Youth and Community Development. Her key areas of strength are community capacity building, mobilization, training and process facilitation for youth development advocacy. Nyasha is the co-founder and trustee of a youth led organisation focusing on youth developmental issues called My Age Zimbabwe Trust operating in Masvingo Province in Zimbabwe. Nyasha is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Sociology and Gender development studies to better serve her passion.
Nyasha has been engaged and is currently participating in various voluntary leadership positions including as a member of the Young Peoples Network on Sexual and Reproductive Health HIV and AIDS an affiliate to AFRIYAN, Global Ambassador and country team leader Milky way Youth Movement, National representative of the Ignite Youth Africa Movement, Member of Pan African Youth Union Working Group, Global advocate- ACT2015! Have you Seen My Rights, Millennium Campus Conference on International Development- Campus Ambassador 2015.Nyasha has represented the youth voices in various platforms including, ESA Ministerial Commitment Technical Coordination group,2014 ASRHR/HIV Symposium in Zambia, 2015 AUC Intergenerational Dialogue on Youth in South Africa ,2015 Inter Governmental Negotiations on Post 2015 United Nations,2015 Millennium Campus Conference on International Development and Youth.
