Ralph Kwame Akyea is a young practicing Ghanaian who has had the privilege of serving in various capacities and working in diverse health-related advocacy, in and out of my country Ghana, including the area of HIV/AIDS and SRH. He is a member of the UNAIDS Youth Advisory Forum; and a Commissioner for the Lancet Youth Commission on Essential Medicines Policies. He also serves at the Regional Focal Point for the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS.
Through his role in youth networks, he has a considerable amount of experience in policy advocacy and leadership. An excellent ability to achieve objectives with/without supervision, in both team and self-directed settings with a strong understanding and experience in Public Health, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
